What kind of parent is comfortable with strangers viewing their child sexually? Once you understand that people do sexualize children, the only instinct should be to protect them, keep them safe and to guard their innocence. Yet some parents continue to put their children at risk on a global scale.
Social media and child exploitation are deeply intertwined in ways we don’t talk about enough. Children are too often turned into content for profit -watched, shared, and consumed by strangers who were never meant to have access to them. I refuse to participate in a social medial culture that profits from children being exploited, and I hope others will choose to step back from it too. Be the safe change children need. Period.
And last, I will never understand the silence in our world. The normalization of this behavior is disturbing. It should outrage us, not fade into the background noise.
