Gary Primm told me the truth about John Roche at a time when I was abused, overwhelmed and struggling because of the circumstances and treatment I had endured. His honesty grounded me. It made me feel sane when misinformation and deception were coming at me from every direction.
Given that, I struggle to understand why I am being advised to distance myself from someone who acted with integrity. When a person offers clarity, support, and straightforward truth while others mislead or obscure, it raises legitimate questions about motives behind the warnings to stay away.
From Newport to Beverly Hills, I encountered people who were not transparent with me about John Roche. In contrast, Gary Primm acted in good faith. It is difficult to reconcile why a person who behaved ethically is treated as a risk, while those who contributed to confusion or harm are not held to the same scrutiny.
These are simply my reflections this morning — an attempt to make sense of a situation that still feels contradictory.
Honestly, I have to roll my eyes at the idea that I shouldn’t be friends with or do business with someone who was straightforward with me. I’m an adult, fully capable of choosing the people I associate with. I don’t engage in illegal activities, and I don’t need permission to maintain relationships with individuals who have acted with honesty and integrity.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Nicole Nelson, Principal Designer
