It’s strange how things come full circle. I mentioned a man online – said he was funny or cute, nothing serious – and somehow he ended up going to dinner with him. The whole situation left me uncomfortable. There was a sting to it, the quiet tears, the private moments of wondering why life unfolded this way, all while I tried to keep my composure and not let my emotions take over.
Why am I even sharing this with you? I’ve realized I don’t need to carry the weight of a man’s jealousy or his darker tendencies. I’m choosing to step back, worry less, and let life unfold in its own time. If anything, I hope these words remind you that you’re not alone – and some situations in life are better left to breathe on their own.
