Here’s the truth: when someone is unstable or abusive, no one is immune to their behavior. You’re not somehow exempt from the reality he creates. I didn’t provoke him, yet I still became a target – so it’s worth questioning why you believe you’d be treated differently. That isn’t confidence; it is denial. When dealing with someone who is volatile, the idea that ‘he wouldn’t do that to me’ is a dangerous misconception. It’s time to recognize the reality of the situation and protect yourself accordingly.
