Vulgar people often chase attention the quickest way they can – by being loud, shocking, or crude – but none of that builds respect. It’s noise, not substance. And the irony is that the attention they get comes from degrading themselves and others instead of contributing anything that elevates the conversation.
It isn’t comedy. It isn’t sexy. It isn’t clever.
It’s just trashy – a shortcut with no depth, no wit, and nothing interesting to offer. We’re well beyond the stage where shock value passes for personality. By adulthood, one hopes people have more to contribute… though clearly, not everyone has grown past that stage.
