Last year, a man asked me out. Something felt off, so I kept my distance. When he kept showing up at my workplace, I wanted answers. The pain I felt wasn’t because I cared for him — it was because he lied about everything and crossed boundaries I would never cross with anyone. My tears were real, not from love, but from devastation of being deceived and unsettled by someone I never dated. Stalking is unsettling. I would never appear at a man’s workplace uninvited, even if it’s open to the pubic — it’s intrusive, and it’s wrong.
Healing, always. Helping, always.
