ATeam — Alexandra Taylor

Alexandra Taylor was consistently on top of every detail during Designer Runway. I pay close attention to the process, and and she demonstrated the same level of precision and awareness. She deserved more than being treated like a shadow. In my experience, having boundaries isn’t about distance — it’s about creating the space for them to reach their full potential.

I’m not perfect, and I’m still afraid of people — especially after what I went through. That’s just the truth.

My point is this…

Whether people like her or hate her for her politics doesn’t matter to me. Whether she likes me personally is irrelevant too. What— stood out— what actually caught my attention — is that I saw her. She carries the same kind of look I do, that quiet, annoyed-with-the-world expression that communicates more than words could.

Yes, she gave that look to me while I was being abused. But after surviving abuse and doing the work to heal, I’ve learned to lead with more heart. Love me or hate me. She marketed that runway better than anyone else. Anyone who worked for Modern Luxury Magazine understands the level of work that was expected, and I respect her work ethic. And the truth is, her heart for women and children aligns with mine more than people realize.
