Why does likes and views pretend to measure our worth? Most days it feels like the world has convinced us that our value lives in our phone screen. I felt personally trapped by strangers, in eyes that linger for the wrong reasons with hearts that define my worth to the world.
Is this really my life? No, my worth is not defined by likes or views. It is defined by the simplicity of whether I planted the right flowers. It is honest and real with my kind of happiness. I love flowers, even if social media does not like real flowers.
