For years, Mr. Downing repeatedly contacted my friends and mutual acquaintances to “check on me.” After enduring this behavior – along with the additional mistreatment from him and others – in 2015 I finally chose for the first time to address this matter directly by reaching out to one of his friends. It is remarkable how quickly the dynamic shifts once an individual realizes their tactics no longer work.
A person’s character reveals itself through their actions. His behavior demonstrates a lack of integrity, and those within his inner circle and family appear to reflect the same. I do not resort to calling people clowns, but their actions make it difficult to describe otherwise.
